Lauren Basile has always had a passion for arts and crafts. Since the days of kindergarten crafts consisting of glue, stickers and crayons, Lauren believed that crafts were not only a great past-time but a fun way to show creativity and bond with those you love. Lauren wishes to inspire readers to become confident in their crafting abilities and learn that crafting isn’t just for little kids anymore.
Studying public relations at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Lauren is currently in her junior year at Arizona State University. As a competitive baton twirler since the age of seven and a feature twirler for the ASU Sun Devil Marching Band, this San Antonio native spends most of her time dedicated to her own craft (pun intended) of baton twirling. When Lauren isn’t twirling at ASU football and basketball games, she is serving as the Public Relations chairwoman for her sorority, sustaining her Dean’s List status and enjoying the last few years of college she has left.
As an editorial intern for NFIT, a fitness and wellness magazine for women, Lauren also loves to help educate the public about leading a healthy, balanced and exciting lifestyle.
With so many activities, it’s no secret that Lauren is passionate about her future. Lauren hopes to one day become a Public Relations coordinator for a corporation or nonprofit for which she develops a passion for.
